Classic Jayhawk was one of 30 Jayhawk statues that graced Lawrence, KS in 2002 for a promotion called "Jayhawks On Parade". The statues were all on display for several months and then auctioned off. A few of them can still be seen around Lawrence, cheering on the KU Jayhawks.
